LEGAL CANNABIS IN THE US

For centuries the US grew cannabis, even mandating that it be grown. Quel surpris to find that there is much legal back-and-forth about the 'right' to grow hemp. A recent episode in that battle comes from North Dakota, where the ND Deptartment of Agriculture issued a press release on proposals for industrial hemp production. There will be discussion of this on 15 June in Lecture Room B of the ND Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND. (Details of which can be found on the Vote Hemp website).
