THE HEMP MISSIONARIES
An article with the above title appeared in the Times on 8 November, 2005, (p. 18, food section, Joanna Weinberg) which brought to light many facts about hemp oil. Weinberg talks to Henry Braham and Glynis Murray, a husband and wife team who are harvesting 1,200 acres in Barnstaple, Devon; traditionally prime hemp growing area in the UK. Their oil is called Good Oil, and is now selling nationwide. One celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver, had it with his ice cream.
Good Oil is not a bad name for their product, as hemp contains Omega 3,6 & 9 oils. Information on these oils and other constituents of the hemp seed may be found on this blog using the word search feature. Bon apetit!
