Hi Kenyon,
Please could you forward this or post it for anyone that may be interested. Also I understand that you will also be speaking at the BGG, I'm really looking forward to meeting you there and would welcome the chance to chat sooner if you get the chance. (number below).

We are a new group called “HempSpace” who aim to raise awareness of hemp and promote its uses. We will work with colleagues in the hemp industry to increase the availability of the whole range of hemp products, from food, clothing and paper, to hemp building materials, horse bedding and animal food.

Please listen to a programme we made earlier this year for BBC Radio WM, you can listen to it at www.myspace.com/hempspaceradio

Hempspace is taking a solar powered cinema marquee to the Big Green Gathering on 3rd – 5th August, in Somerset; where we will be located in the AMARE area of the Campaigns Field.

We will be displaying information about hemp, showing movies and documentaries relating to hemp and hosting interactive education/ discussion workshops for adults and children at the festival. In 2006 over 20,000 people attended the Big Green Gathering, we expect most people to visit most things at the festival at least once.

This is the first hemp awareness campaign to be taken to any festival, although this is a pilot run we plan to take the Hempspace Cinema to festivals and events every weekend from May to September in 2008, and to schools throughout the rest of the year.

Would you consider supporting us in any way? Putting this together for the first time has proven quite expensive, so to raise funds to cover the costs of this project we are offering everyone in the hemp field the chance to be represented at the festival.

How you can support the Hempspace festival project:

·Advertising poster on display (A3) £50.00
·Distributing cards, brochures or catalogues (per 1,000) £50.00
·Commercial advertisement feature* £100.00

·Supply products for sale at wholesale price that we can pay by invoice after event.

·Sponsor Hempspace

·Forward this e-mail or simply send us your messages of support to include in our future funding applications

*We can show your promotional film, of up to five minutes, at least once each day. The film may be a professional advert or a home-made promotional film that you made yourself (go-on, have a go!).

You can contact us by e-mail or telephone at any time. Please support this initiative, Hempspace truly believes that Hemp Education Means Progress; that by appearing at festivals and outdoor events, as well as educating young people, we will have a direct impact on demand for hemp products in the future.
