JACK HERER IN HOSPITAL

On September 12, 2009, on the first day of the Portland Hempstalk, Jack Herer, noted author of The Emperor Wears no Clothes, had a heart attack and was taken to Emmanuel Hospital. From there he has been transferred to the Avemere Rehabilitation Center in Eugene, Oregon. His ex-wife, Jeannine, and a number of friends are tending to his needs.

Jack had been working on a book about mushrooms, along with the infamous James Arthur (Dugovic).

Jack had been a supporter of Hemp for Victory, giving us his endorsment from the start. We wish him a full recovery.
