CONCORD, N.H. -
For the fourth time in the past six years, the New Hampshire Legislature is considering legalizing medical marijuana.
The Senate holds a hearing Thursday on a bill that would give people with serious illnesses or chronic pain access to the drug. It recently passed the House with a veto-proof majority.
Senate leadership says the bill will see significant changes, but is likely to pass.
The Senate is also hearing testimony Thursday on a bill that would protect industrial hemp from be labeled an illicit drug. The House has already passed that bill
