Hemp glaze used in painting
Image below is of a Red-billed Toucan, native to Bolivia and other South American countries. It is here as an example of hemp oil, which was used in the glazes. Very bright, clear, long lasting. More expensive just now than linseed oils and only available in specialty shops, but I am hoping to get it on the shelves of art supply shops in the future.
