Jill Stein in New York outside Trump Towers

Jill Stein came to New York today and made more money for her recount project. Which is very good news for companies like Exxon Mobile, Lockheed Martin, etc. She has already $8,500,000 in such firms, so she is a loyal investor. Many in the GOP no doubt approve.

And since she raised over $6,000,000 for the recount of the votes this November in the US, she is going to have a lot more. Which some people think was going to be spent on the recount. In fact that was the premise of her solicitation.

But that is not where the money went. She could have had a recount in Pennsylvania, but she did not want to pay the state fee of $1,000,000 to pay for their workers. Maybe she expected them to do it for free. And keep the money she raised.

Arriving in New York at 10am, she headed for the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue, across from which she made her speech. The press was there in great force, but only to listen to her. When I showed them the information about her, they rudely ignored it. They know she has lots of money and makes an easy story just showing up to ask for more money.

Most of the passersby knew that too. While the press was rude, the crowd reached out to me, and when I told them the facts about Stein were easy to check - and FREE - they wanted to know why the journalists were acting like petulant brats. Lots of disgust from both Democrats and Republicans on this. I ridiculed them for hours - and told one fool who wanted only an easy scoop that I could face every single American in the face after having done my bit They acted bored and stupid. They did squirm as I pointed them out, and had to endure my honest criticism for their dishonest and sloppy work.

CNN was especially rude, and this after assaulting me on 9 November when I asked them why they were only reporting one side to the story. I had to threaten them with arrest. CNN treats American with contempt by not telling the whole story, ignoring issues like hemp, Clinton's sexual abuse of Cathy O'Brien, etc.

Other outlets are also full of stupid lazy hacks. Just look at the lack of articles on hemp - compared to the multitude of articles on Kim Kardashian. Or dope. Written by dopes.

So while I am not against a recount, Jill Stein is NOT the person to be trusted with it and lots of money. Who knows what she is really doing with it. And how many fools there are in the Green Party to allow someone with the kind of investment she has to be their candidate.

That said, in case someone wants to accuse me of being some kind of right wing activist, go on this very blog and see how many times I supported Cynthia McKinney when she was the Green  Party presidential candidate. A black woman FYI. The press ignored her since she went after Bush, and did not just allow hypocrisy in the Democrat party.

So there. Let's see what Trump will do with the hemp issue, bear in mind that two top Republicans were mor in support than either Greens or Democrats, I am referring to Mitch McConnell and Rand Paul, both Senators from Kentucky - and let's not forget Ron Paul, retired Congressman from Victoria, Texas, the town in which my sister runs Minawear ( www.minawear.com ).
And of course, I was wearing Minawear hemp clothing - Jill Stein was not. Very few in the Greens really support hemp now with her as their candidate, maybe they smoke dope. Must be to be giving her money.

GREEN RUNNING IN BELSIZE PARK

There is a by-election in Belsize Park on 2 April, and one of the candidates has impressed me with her activism. Naomi Aptowitzer, of the Green Party. She is chair of the local residents' association in Chalk Farm and has been active in combatting anti-social behaviour. For 18 years she has worked for the Borough, and is currently director of ZiPee Bikes Ltd. That is what impresses me the most. She campaigns for better bicycle infrastructure, and in 2007 began the 'Elect Electric' campaign to press coucils to install more on-street charge points for electric vehicles. This would be great, and if we could get more people to drive the G-Wiz, which is visible on most streets in the borough, strangely juxtaposed to the oversizw SUVs, we could all have a bit more tranquility. Bikes, by the way, are bucking the financial trend, bike shops were trading 86% higher in '08 than in '07, so she is on to the new growth industry. And speaking of bikes, my friend Chris Sanders is working on importing a fold up electric bike, which is just about the greenest thing around. It can get people to work for much less money and save on parking spaces all over London. So I hope to see Naomi get in on 2 April, in which case, expect to see her on Haverstock Hill riding the latest e-bike.

GREENS PLAYING WITH FIRE

In Australia the Green Party is not popular; not after hundreds of people died in forest fires that could have been prevented if qualified fire prevention officials had been listened to, and forest areas had been thinned down to minimise the risk of fire in a country where that is the #1 threat. Their impassioned pleas to keep every last log in place for every last bug to have a snug home backfired, and now every last bug is dead, burned to a crisp thanks to these idiots, who may or may not care that hundreds of their fellow humans have also met such a fate. As usual, the idiot savants in the Green Party have little remorse. The only pain they feel is when someone like me reproaches them, and then they hang their heads in shame and cry that I ought not to expect them to be scientists. No, I do not. In fact I do not expect them to even be literate enough to read about hemp, though some have found their way on to this blog and complained vociferously. The best thing they ever did was to back Cynthia McKinney for President of the United States in '08, and even that they could not get very right, with a high profile candidate like her they ought to have gotten millions more votes, but their stupid stunts make them a pariah party.

Let's hope that we can allow our governments to implement public safety measure without interference from these know-it-all climate change fanatics. How much more money has to be spent on their pipe dreams, and how many more have to die before we see through their drug induced hysteria?

BNP IS GREENER THAN GREENS

Here in the UK there is always news on the British National Party. The biggest scoop was when they appointed a member to be their central London list keeper. It was actually an undercover Guardian journalist, Ian Cobain, who printed the secret passwords and outed Simone Clarke (pictured right) as a member.

The latest caper did not take an undercover journalist to pull off, a disgruntled employee put the entire nationwide list on the internet. Names like Rod Lucas, the radio presenter, then appeared, and it was supposed to be shocking that anyone in the BNP had a real job or, as one breathless journalists reported in a pseudo state of shock, could speak Italian. Lucas has since claimed he never was realy BNP, he was just joining it to research it - kind of like a former WHO member who claimed he was only looking at child porn on the internet to research it...and I was only wearing a silk stocking and waving a gun in the bank, your honour, to research crime...

The best gag out of all of it was the statement by the Green Party, who claimed that Chris Bessant, a former Green, who was on the BNP list, was not a racist, but left the Greesn because the BNP policies were greener. At least I agree. The Green Party was an utter waste of time in regards to hemp. But I think you can buy some good dope from them. Drug policy is their strong point.

NOVEMBER SELECTION

As Americans mull over which chad to punch on that first Tuesday of November this leap year, a real candidate runs for office. Forget the GOP man and his sidekick, hockey mom, who has more experience blowing away polar bears than sitting in Congress (none of the latter to be precise); forget the Obama Hussein donkey candidate, who has at least some experience in DC, and forget the other candidates, especially Ralph. Go for the GREEN.
Cynthia McKinney, with whom I was privileged to spend a week with in London, is a matronly woman with a real sense of what is going on. It was she who asked Rumsfeld about the missing $2.3 trillion...and since that day, she has been made an enemy of, blacked out by the press whores who whitewash the theft that it so rife in Washington.
We can look forward to a US President who is not scamming money, who is not (like 40,41 & 43) the subject of paedophile investigations, who is not a Skull & Bones member, who is not into big business, but who is a real statesman, and has a real agenda.
Even if your vote does not get her in, it sends a message, and that needs to be heard. If the GREENS get 5% of the vote it will mean a serious victory for the party. The change from Nader, a man who never served in public office, to a person who has spent about 20 years in office, was a good move for the party and means that they can be taken a lot more seriously. McKinney's tour in London showed she has real diplomatic and speaking skills. She thrilled the audience at Friends House, the historic venue in North London, and held court well in enemy territory, such as the James Whale show (a particularly unpleasant UK shock jock who has recently had his radio licence revoked by the communications authorities). She also spoke at the Green Party UK festival in Brockwell Park and held a conference at the Friends of the Earth HQ. The people who met her, from Tony Juniper of FoE, to Mark Anslow of the Ecologist to Baroness Jenny Tonge were well impressed with her.
Her stance on the treatment of US soldiers is also a very strong point, she is the only candidate to take a stance on the DU issue. Presciently, she asserts that the people who got us into this mess, referring to Iraq, cannot be trusted to take us out. Or to take care of the soldier who they messed up with DU by giving lucrative contracts to companies that use this nuclear waste product. They make the money, our boys pay the price. That's how it works, but McKinney is vocal about changing this - and her record reflects this - look at this issue in the 109th Congress and see how she stood out from the crowd and stood up for those in uniform. The others betrayed the military on this - look at their voting records. So voting for those who vote against proper treatment of the soldiers is, it could be argued, a step away from treason. A strong military is essential, and we are currently looking at a decline in morale and enlistment. For those who care about this issue, McKinney is the candidate.
And of course, for those who want to see America growing hemp, McKinney is the candidate. She would help the likes of Dave Monson in North Dakota to get his legal rights, which his fellow GOP members have failed to do.
But, sadly, we may get Obama or McCain. I would vote for neither. I fear for America's future if they get in.

GUARDIAN QUESTIONS THE

GLOBAL WARMING HOAX

It's refreshing to hear some sanity in the Guardian after all the Green Nazi brainwashing crusade to get us all to believe in Al Gore and George Monbiot's hot air news. James Randerson writes in yesterday (11 March, '28) paper: "Experts deny link between floods and gloabl warming." The scientific ananlysis of the severe floods here in the UK has shown that they cannot be linked to climate change. In fact, there has been less summer flooding in the last four decades. And some of the older folk remember some quite warm winters when they sat on the beach without any coats in the winter.

However, the Nazi youth party in the Greens does not want to remember all this. They want to herd us all into their protest march and take our money, but not once do they talk sense abou hemp. So will we be hearing more real science from the press? Hopefully yes, but that means they will have to do real work. So maybe that is too much to hope. I encourage everyone to keep on contacting their local journalists with information on hemp and any other real science so we can get heard over the roar of the Nazi Green PR machine.

A LIGHTER SHADE OF GREEN

I live to fight another day, after having attended the Monbiot rally at Friends House. I did not get lynched, only ignored and collared by one angry member of the Green Party UK.

Was it something I said? Or the fact that I wrote on their solicitation forms: "PRINTED ON ENVIRONMENTALLY DESTRUCTIVE WOOD PULP PAPER. HELP DESTROY THE RAIN FORESTS AND SUPPORT US NOW"?

They were not pleased. One member then proceeded to discusss global warming with me and things got hot. I mentioned Cynthia McKinney and her visit to the UK Greens in September, and he suggested she was unable to answer questions. When I questioned the angry member as to which questions, he was then unable to answer, and it turned out he was not even at the event. He was not alone in that his inability to answer questions. The panelists were not only unable to do so, but also rather angry an my inconvenient truths. When asked about Piers Corbyn, Phil just asserted that Piers was a nutter. "Conspicuously absent from your speeches was any mention of him or others who have real science about climate change," I told them.

While facts were few and far between, emotions ran high. One teary-eyed blonde from down under went on about how terrible climate change was, and how great it was to break the law in London to get her point across. For all her emotional speeches and illegal actions, she did not want to know about hemp and gave me a cold look when I gave her some hemp paper; as did another speaker.

The main speaker was George Monbiot, the smartest of the lot - he sat nearest the exit and when anyone like myself approached after the talk he managed to get away faster than a snake in the grass. This left a volunteer to field my questions about why they only discussed biofuel as one product rather than intelligenlty talking about biodiesel and bioethanol as two very distinct items; which confused the mean green assistant further and I was sure they were just about to call security.

The overall impression of it was that it was a Holy Roller revival meeting. They talk up the emotions and then pass the plate. In this case the plate was in the form of direct debit forms printed on - environmentally destructive wood pulp paper. And were any of them wearing hemp? No way - they all had on environmentally destructive cotton. They want to preach, but they don't want to practice.

After passing the California state senate on September 11 by a large majority (26-13), the bill to allow hemp in the Golden State was vetoed by the son of a Nazi whore some 33 days later. And I'm not speaking about his mother - his dad wore the bent cross in service to Hitler as an officer of the Reich.

Once again the will of the people has been subverted by the perverted. As the bill for the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan now surpasses that of the bill for the Korean and Vietnam wars, 1 trillion bucks to be exact, people are beginning to get a little upset about the rip-off occuring in the Homeland. Some time ago Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney asked Donald Rumsfeld where 2.3 trillion bucks went at the Pentagon, and she is still waiting for an answer.

Now that she is considering a run for the Oval Office on the Green Party ticket, we may get an answer, and some action on legalising hemp. McKinney is aware that the first US flag was made of hemp, and that hemp is part of US history - so much so that the government issued a "Hemp for Victory" film in WWII. So where is the victory? Certainly Schwarzenegger has not delivered a sieg. Maybe more a state of siege.

Speaking of flags and victories, the US won a battle at sea against the Koreans in the late 19th century and confiscated the flag, which was, like the Betsy Ross stars'n'stripes, made of hemp. It is now on loan to Korea, which is hoping to get it back permanently. They want their hemp back and I don't blame them. Hopefully, Californians can also get their hemp back.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT

Political bandwagons are always set to attract ne'er-do-wells to the cause, and these last few years you can find just about everyone going green. Of course, as a member of the UK Green Party once told me when they had so few answers to questions, one does not expect them all to be scientists. Opinion runs rampant and those who try to inject some sanity into it are often cast out as heretics. This blog has already earned me a few enemies, so I have nothing to lose by making a few more. I might start today with a look at The Changing Times, a London freebie that has joined so many other London freebie greenie mags. The irony erupts on pp. 6-7, where a lengthy infomercial by the Onya bag people gives us statistics on plastic bags, replete with a glaring mathematical error. The infomercial tries to get us to then buy platic bags! Why? They are FREE at most shops, so why pay Onya £6.50 or more? They do not tell us that they are plastic, the words 'parachute material' are used very cleverly instead. But to those of us with a brain...

Next in the firing line is Juliette Anthony, a former "laid-back research librarian", as she describes herself. Anthony's piece in 321 Energy is informative in many ways, but it misses much. For instance, when she points out that the recent drive to grow corn for ethanol was a debacle, she does not explain that there was no need to use the entire plant for ethanol. Strangely, she asserts: "Cellulosic ethanol from other plant materials is far in the future...". Does she not know about sugar cane in Brazil? Or Henry Ford's use of hemp? Maybe Harvard, Anthony's former employer, does not have a very adequate library on these issues. Completely ignored by her is the fact that cellulose is the most common plant compound on earth. Sourcing it is easy, we could collect farm wastes, paper and yard trimmings and have lots of it without using up a single acre of farmland.

Kern County California is mentioned in her piece, and if in her researching days she had bothered to be a little less laid back and diligently reach for the USDA Yearbook of 1914 she would have come across mention of hemp growing in that county. In her article concern is expressed for the amount of water that corn takes in cultivation, thus there is all the more reason to think about hemp. While she is at it, she just might look at cotton, which is using up water all over the world, with one million acres of it parching the ground in California.

I do agree with some of her points though, especially the use of solar panels. Quoting State Senator Tom McClintock (R), it is pointed out that the CARB regulations aimed at reducing carbon emissions are being implemented in dangerous ways, so that they actually drive the food prices up. Oh, but the do-gooders who drew those up do not want to hear that, they are inconvenient facts much like Canadian blogger Stephen McIntyre's findings on yearly temperature highs which embarrassed NASA and the climate change dealers. Where was George Monbiot on that?

Lastly let me turn my attention on a long-standing foe, the Independent on Sunday. This is the newspaper that will go on-and-on about fish oliver oil but not mention GLAs in hemp. This last Sunday it had a front page article against cannabis, and Free Rob called me up to point it out. Not that I was unaware, just that spending money on such junk is against my principles. Free is coming to London next weekend and will address the issue at Speaker's Corner, and one member of the Cannabis Fraternity has offered to strip off at the IoS office. Me I will stick to blogging!

THE GANGRENE PARTY

The image left needs no intrduction, at least not on this site. However, it has taken years of explaining hemp to the UK Green Party to get them to take heed. The closest I got to any cooperation on the matter was a chat with their drugs spokesperson, Shane Collins, and that was somewhat between zero and sod all. I met the Greens again last Sunday at Brockwell Park in South London, where I was working as a PR person for Cynthia McKinney. They wanted to be in the picture with her, but they did not seem to know what that picture was. All the while I was curious about what was going to occur, as she was proposed by the US Green Party to be their presidential candidate. I worried that the UK Greens were not going to impress her. Sian Berry was nowhere in sight, Caroline Lucas, their MEP, did not show up, and there was no sign of Jenny Jones of the Greater London Assembly. The last time I talked with Jones, she was defending Tony Blair, and I have since considered her a born loser. Maybe it was best she did not show up. Among those who did, I cannot say anyone was very impressed. When we got into a discussion about hemp, which ought to be a top priority for the UK Greens, they told us basically we could get involved in their internal politics and maybe they would pay it some attention. I held my tongue, given that I was McKinney's host.

The next day, she dropped a bombshell in London, as she announced she was withdrawing her nomination from the party. In the next 48 hours or so, this was covered by her hometown paper in Atlanta, which noted that the Greens did not know of it first, and claimed they did not get the letter. I am not surprised. If they are so stupid they do not really do anything for hemp, they do not deserve to be called the Green Party. In fact, the GOP does more for hemp than this sorry party. Not that I am about to go out an vote for many of them either.

Whether McKinney withdrew her nomination because the scales fell from her eyes in London or not I do not claim to know. But I am happy she did withdraw, as she can now concentrate much more working with more well organised parties and individuals. As to hemp, she took the time to find out about it and is now back in the US with 3 hemp T shirts courtesy of Gav Lawson of The Hemp Trading Company. He hung out with her outside the US Embassy as she wore an orange jump suit in protest at the treatment of Guantanamo Bay prisoners. And, as one might guess, there was no sign of the Green Party.

HEART OF HEMP

Cynthia McKinney, former US Congresswoman who was asked to consider a run for the White House by the US Green Party, has finished her whirlwind tour of London. To get her off to a proper start, a tub of hemp hearts (pictured right) awaited her in the fridge, which, along with hemp chocolate bars, kept her going strong (along with porridge and raisins).

Highlights of her tour include meeting Tony Juniper of Friends of the Earth on Thursday, 6 September, wearing an orange jump suit outside the US Embassy on Friday, talking at the Urban Green Fair on Sunday, and holding court at Friends House on Monday. Tuesday she flew off to Amsterdam.

At the end of her tour she decided to decline the Green Party nomination, as she was not able to get the running mate she wanted. They may have to take back Ralph Nader! And let's not mention his little back handed put options trading...

I bet the major parties are breathing a sigh of relief. 4 more years of BS in the US if either of them gets elected. There may be some scary time ahead, and chills ran up our spines on Monday when we heard that Barack Hussein Obama plans to pull the troops out of Iraq...and send them to Pakistan. Just when you thought Bush was bad. And since this will be a move on the part of the Democrats, protest might be completely futile.

I think America's only hope is that the citizens at this point storm the cockpit and turn the plane around. For that they will need their strength, so I recommend a high protein diet which includes hemp seeds (which are still illegal to grow in the Homeland, these came from Canada, which now cultivates 50,000 acres a year).

CYNTHIA MCKINNEY IN LONDON

This summer the US Green Party asked Cynthia McKinney to run for president. Hopefully she will, and many things that the Bush administration have damaged in the land of liberty will be repaired, such as the treatment of US veterans. I am lucky to have served before either Bush got in, many of those who did their time after me are now suffering the effects of depleted uranium. The Marines got a few good men, but Bush was not one of them. In fact it is pretty well understood that he went AWOL for 7 months, and his VP never even went in as he got 5 deferrments, is that a record or what? How did he get out of duty 5 times when hundreds of thousands of others got called up? Did he tap his feet?

McKinney is definitely not a foot-tapper. She has hers solidly on the ground, and this week they are on British ground. She arrived Monday around noon and has taken up residence in London where she has been holding court with writers and journalists. Mark Anslow of the Ecologist spent the afternoon in her presence, asking her about her stance on all things green, followed by Elizabeth Mistry. Nafeez Ahmed showed up later with his friends and a heavy discussion ensued. At one point Cynthia cooked up a meal of hulled hemp seeds and porridge, the former a gift of Roger Snow at Rocky Mountain Grain Products in Canada.

The next day London was set back by a tube strike, which may not have pleased a lot of people, but at least it got some of us more fit as we were forced to walk or ride bikes. Personally, though, I'd rather sit and get taken to my destination by wheels of steel. Let's hope they are rolling soon. While they idled, McKinney gathered steam, talking to the Big Issue and getting on Talk Sport just before midnight. Any American would be proud that she held her own against the talk show host John Nichol. She was asked if she was an American version of George Galloway, to which she wisely did not say yes or no. Truth is that both do stand against the establishment and oppose the mess in Iraq, but she does not go on Big Brother and do inane antics to get attention, she is able to make her points in more effective ways. She also has a very good voting record for her constituents, whilst Galloway has a very bad one, and in fact missed a crucial vote for Bethnal Green when he was a guest of Channel 4.

She will rock and roll in the UK some more, meeting Friends of the Earth tomorrow and protesting outside the US Embassy on Friday (7 September) at 6 pm with Moazzam Begg, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner who got locked up for nothing. It sounds like Seinfeld, which was a show about nothing, but noone ever complained (except some viewers). There still are hundreds of people locked up for nothing, and they are not even allowed to watch old epidodes of Seinfeld. Instead they are being forced to hear loud music, as if that is going to help win hearts and minds. If Cynthia gets in they get out. And the millions, sorry, billions, sorry, trillions that the Bushistas are spending on Camp X Ray and other abominations will be spent in the Homeland with proper accounting to the taxpayer's whose money has gone astray these last few years. Some folks will not like that one bit, and I suspect that the princes of darkness who run Blackwater and other paramilitary outfits at great expense to the taxpayer will be getting caned.

On Sunday (9 September) she will be speaking at the Urban Green Fair in Brockwell Park, Brixton. After that she goes up to Leeds, then returns to the banks of the Thames on Monday, when she will speak at Friends House on Euston Road at 6:30 pm, admission £5, £3 with concessions. Her speech will be followed by a 45 minutes Q&A session. Tuesday (11 September) she is attending a rally in Parliament Square at noon, and then she heads off to Amsterdam.

GOING GREEN

It seems everyone these days is going green, or am I just wearing my Oz glasses? Perhaps the wizard is about to pop out and make the world a better place, but even he will not remove my cynicism.

Some things however are hard to knock, and I have only good words for a new book out by Sheherazade Goldsmith, wife of Zac, who is known for his work at the Ecologist. The cover is featured right (so I could save time typing in the lenghty title). It is very spot on, though it seems to have greatly upset George Monbiot last week in his Guardian piece. Methinks he did protest too much, as there are 90 projects here and whether someone lives on a sheep farm or in a bedsit there is something for everyone in this tome. Maybe even he could roll up his sleeves and get to work instead of inundating us with innacuracies. He also tried to sneak out the back door on the global warming issue, rather than saying he was wrong, or listening to Piers Corbyn, whose letter appeared the next day in the same paper. Corbyn gave us his previous predictions, facts on which they were based, and future predictions. According to him, this year and next will get colder, and there will be more storms this summer. The Big Green Gathering will be mostly spared these storms, if he is correct, and I hope he is as sloshing around in the mud with the madding crowd in Somerset is not my idea of fun, or even how to save the planet. I am to hold forth on hemp on Friday, 8:30 pm in the Moon Marquee, so if Corbyn is spot on we will be high and dry.

When I called around to the environment editors in the UK to invite them, they all seemed to know nothing about the Big Green or Mr. Corbyn (except for John Vidal of the Guardian). So tens of thousands of people will be speaking in the woods, but there will quite likely be a mainstream press blackout, with the left trying desperately to ignore anyone who questions global warming, just as they did when they were all global cooling experts. From the right, expect lots of stories about drunk rich kids and journalists killing each other in helicopters as they try to follow drunk rich kids, and from the left, expect lots of know-it-alls claiming that we are freezing this summer due to global warming.

Somewhere in the middle there are a number of people who just want facts and are working on growing hemp and using electric cars. The next political movement may well be the Centrist Party, fed up with all the nonsense on the far left and far right. They will be carrying copies of genuine peer reviewed articles on hemp, climate change and sustainable living. The 'Green Party' ought to take note and expect a rebuke from me this Friday. Unless I get thrown out first for speaking the truth by the hard core global warming Nazis.
